WHO ARE WE
The Engels Hof has been family run for more than 35 years. The German architect couple Reinhard and Marleen Hesse lived with their three children on the Engels Hof until 1986, before they emigrated to the U.S. The Hesse Family envisioned a place for business and holiday travelers to vsiit, meet and regenerate in a historical setting.
Over the years, the property has been expanded to include 10 holiday and business suites, creative offices and a conference / events center. In addition, the Engels Hof now serves as a permanent showcase for the work of the renowned artist Richard Horus Engels who also lived and worked on the estate.
THE MANOR
A short drive from the City of Wolfsburg, Engels Hof is located in the medieval village of Neuhaus nestled next to a historic castle, spacious park with lake and extensive grounds surrounding the property.
The suites offer you a great and affordable retreat from your business or holiday activities in Wolfsburg. Downtown Wolfsburg, the Volkswagen Arena and the Autostadt Museum are minutes away by car. There are also connections to public transport and Hanover Airport is less than an hour away. Due to its geographical location, the Engels Hof is also an ideal base camp for day trips to Berlin by (about an hour away by train) or the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park.
